One lucky DraftKings player set the previous suring the previous record, which had been held by BetMGM in New Jersey.
How could the jackpot get so high again, so soon? A DraftKings spokesperson told PlayMichigan:
The re-seed value for this jackpot was already very large when the last one hit and our jackpot product is now available on all games. For the last jackpot, it was available on just 26 games.
DraftKings has more than 1,000 games, in which customers only have to bet $0.20 to win the grand prize, which keeps growing. On Monday, the jackpot sat at $9.39 million.
Information on previous winner
The last winner won a life-changing amount of money on just a $0.20 spin on the on Irish Pot Luck progressive slot. It took more than a year for a customer to hit the record-setting jackpot, which was $9.28 million.

March is going to have to come up with new comments once another record is set, which could be as early as this weekend. Also, within the next couple of days, the jackpot could exceed $10 million by the end of the holiday weekend.
The previous US record for an online jackpot was $6.45 million, which was won in August 2024 in New Jersey.
